Swiss Medical Initiative

Swiss Medical Initiative is officially recognized “ d’utilité publique”. Its main goal is to gather Swiss doctors who wish to give their time and know-how to the benefit of humanitarian causes.

The necessity of humanitarian actions in the poorest villages in Africa have unfortunately proven how much there was still a lot to be done. Because of rural exoduses, populations already stricken by extreme poverty were forced into overcrowded towns and thus live in even more precarious situations.  Indigent people can hardly have access to medical care in public hospitals let alone private clinics.

With your support, our initiative therefore aims to offer quality healthcare to those who cannot afford medical treatment. Your donation will help us accomplish our mission.

From 2015 to 2020, our humanitarian operations made it possible for 850 needy patients to benefit from good quality care and treatment.

We also provide our local partners in Africa with logistic support, medical supplies and various equipment (ultrasound scanners, flexible cystoscope instruments, gynaecological devices...)

Our foundation has also offered 525 liters of Hydroalcoholic Gel to its local partners to fight against the Covid 19 pandemic.
